- two-day workshops in five sites throughout B.C.;
- participation in interior design of B.C. Children's Hospital; and
- survey of the needs of adolescents in hospital environments.

- Development of publication Let Your Children Play. This booklet is for parents on the importance of play in child development. 1982 (Adapted as a pamphlet in 1986.)
- Developed draft policy on play for Canadian Parks and Recreation Association. 1984

- research into children's perspective of organized sport using survey/taped interviews;
