  • Youth perspective on communication resulting in the production of a video called A Place to Start. 1985
  • Youth-led development of a brief to the CRTC on Television Programming and Youth. 1985
  • Involved in conference called Discovering and Marketing Your Skills - an event that was organized by youth, for youth. 1985
  • Promotion of the establishment of a national youth policy institute. Canadian Youth Foundation established in 1986
  • Three conferences for Youth Workers held in Vancouver in 1992, 1993 and 1994.
  • Development and promotion of resource manual: Focus on Youth (a resource for youth workers). 1993
  • Participation in Canadian Mental Health Association youth participation project. 1994-1995
  • Support of the Young Offenders Act. Development of position statement on Youth Justice. 1994
  • Preparation of 'for-youth-by-youth' presentations to schools on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Six elementary and secondary schools involved.
